No, not really. It wasn't important at all. It really isn't still. The game's what's important. Keeping loved ones alive is what's important. Everything else is secondary.

Maybe fully explored is not the right way to put it. No one wants to fully explore their anxieties. Sufficiently explored to feel confident that they aren't going to be relevant most of the time is good enough.
